Seven Magpies

Britain has just declared war on Germany and 14-year-old Maureen has been shipped off to a safe but remote Scottish boarding school. An outsider, Maureen quickly discovers there is something sinister going on among the cliquish girls, involving ancient stones and Celtic powers.
